Der Anfänger Mosaik workshop gibt dir die Gelegenheit, dich mit dem Mosaik Handwerk vertraut zu machen. Dabei wirst du sowohl die Technik und Kreativität, als auch die meditative Qualität des Mosaik Legens kennenlernen.

Am 1. Tag (6h) wird ein ca 20x20cm grosses Mosaik in klassischer Technik aus Glassteinen hergestellt. Die geometrischen Motive von römischen Mosaiken werden aus Vorlagen gewählt. 

Am 2. Tag (3h) wird das Mosaik verfugt. Während einer notwendigen Wartezeit gibt es eine Präsentation über die Geschichte der Mosaik Kunst und Mosaik Materialien.

The beginners mosaic workshop will give you the opportunity to try mosaic craft. During the 1,5 days you will get to know the technique as well as the meditative quality of setting a mosaic.

On the 1. day we produce a 20x20cm mosaic in direct setting technique with glass mosaic tiles. You can choose from different motives from roman mosaic designs developed for beginners. 

On day 2 the mosaic will be grouted. During a necessary break to let the grout dry there will be presentation about mosaic history and materials.
